When a tree needs to come down, a considered approach makes all the difference. We plan the removal around the tree, the access and everything that surrounds it.
A tree may have outgrown its position, suffered significant damage or reached the end of its life. We discuss the options with you before agreeing a specification, including whether appropriate pruning could meet your needs instead.
Controlled dismantling in confined spaces
Where there is room, a tree may be felled from the ground. In a garden close to buildings, fences or neighbouring property, removing it in smaller sections can be more suitable. The working method depends on the tree and site conditions.
Planning around your property
Access, surrounding structures, nearby utilities and the space needed for equipment all affect the job. Tell us about narrow passages, shared access or parking restrictions when you enquire. Stump grinding can be quoted separately if you want to use the ground afterwards.

Your questions, answered.
For advice about your particular tree, please get in touch.
Can you remove a tree in a small garden?+
Often, yes. Access and the space around the tree determine the equipment and working method. Send photographs and describe the access so we can discuss what is practical.
Does tree removal include the stump?+
The quotation will specify what is included. Cutting down a tree normally leaves a stump; ask for stump grinding if you want the stump reduced below ground level.
Do I need permission to remove my tree?+
You may need consent or notice if the tree is protected or in a conservation area. Check with the local planning authority before arranging work; other restrictions may also apply.
